Kris Sieradzki, President | Nancy Hallberg , Vice President

In 1986, colleagues Kris Sieradzki and Nancy Hallberg decided to take the negotiation skills, knowledge and expertise they developed through years in the hotel sales/ hospitality industry and use them to represent and serve industry clients. Focusing their efforts on building, training and empowering a team of talented professionals, the duo has carefully managed each stage of their company’s growth with one core goal in mind – building and maintaining long-term client relationships. Today, Nancy and Kris maintain their hands-on approach – each actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Connections and the development of effective housing strategies for clients.  In addition, each oversees a number of the company’s key accounts as well.

 

Cari Auger
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Cari is a graduate of Kent University, in Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice.  For the past 29 years she has been working in the Hospitality Industry.  Prior to joining the staff at Connections Housing in 2004, Cari was Assistant Vice President of Sales at Travel Technology Group for 9 1/2 years.  For the previous thirteen years, Cari worked in the hotel industry in Sales and Conference Services for Four Diamond/Four Star properties.  She served as a Malcolm Baldridge Trainer at Ritz Carlton the year they were honored with this award.  Providing superior customer service is the most important element that she strives for in working with her clients.  As a result of her strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service and attention to detail, they frequently turn to her as a consultant.  Cari takes a comprehensive proactive approach to managing an event seamlessly.

 

Robert Colvin, CEM
Vice President of Sales, West Coast

Robert joined Connection Housing in June of 2010 and is in charge of our West Coast office in Las Vegas, Nevada.  As a 30 year hospitality, meeting management and trade show/convention housing industry veteran, Robert started his career working for several major Las Vegas hotel properties in both hotel sales and operations.  Most recently he has held positions of Vice President & General Manager for PGI Housing, Registration & Travel as well as Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Experient.

Robert has a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is active with the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and the Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA).  He is the 2011 Chair of the Southwest Chapter of IAEE.

Marcy White
Senior Vice President

Marcy has been with Connections for more than 16 years. In her role as Senior Vice President, she  oversees and directs sales/service efforts for the company's growing roster of clients in the cheerleading and equestrian sectors, as well as a number of associations and other key groups.  She  also manages all event housing registration projects for Connections client, the  Hersey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Bureau. 

 

 

 

Tracy Barrett Janosko
Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region

Tracy joined Connections Housing in 2012. Based in Washington, DC, Tracy prospects new accounts throughout the eastern United States and oversees the housing process for each new client she secures.

Tracy came to Connections from the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau (CCTB) where she managed citywide events for 9-plus years. In addition to her experience working for the CCTB and other convention and tourism bureaus, Janosko worked directly for former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and a minor league hockey team. She began her career as a front desk hotel manager.

Jon Mitchell
Vice President of National Accounts

Jon is responsible for sales and account management to include new business development, client service and satisfaction, site sourcing, and venue and contract negotiations. Jon has over 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Connections Housing, he served as the Global Director of Sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts for 13 years. Jon is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association and served as the organization's Southeast Chapter President in 2003, and on the Annual Meeting Program Committee from 2006 to 2008.

 

 

Tom Bell
Director of Sports Events

Tom joined the company in 2012 to direct business development for Connections Housing Sports.  His focus includes all team / tournament housing, sports expos, and professional sports.  With a passion for providing unparalleled services, the sports market is a perfect fit – both personally and professionally.  With more than 20 years of  successful marketing and operations experience with technology and service providers, Tom brings a wealth of expertise and insight to the position.  He received his BA from the University of Northern Iowa and continuing education in marketing and operations management.

Robert Wood
Vice President of Sales, South Central Region

Robert joined Connections in 2013 as the Vice President of Sales, South Central Region. Based in Oklahoma City, OK, Robert directs and manages sales efforts throughout the region. In addition to prospecting new accounts, he also supervises the housing process for new clients he secures, as well as oversees, maintains and enhances the company’s service offerings to established clients in the region. 

With more than 18 years of extensive experience in the hospitality and convention industry, Wood comes to Connections from the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau (OKC CVB) where he was Senior Convention Sales Manager. Wood is actively involved in a number of industry associations, including the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and was founding board member of the 27th Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP), creating the Oklahoma Wild West Chapter.
